i am in the process of learning HTML and CSS (and some lil bits of javascript) in order to build this website from scratch. after having put together my digital library/archive on Notion dot com, i thought it'd be even more special to give it a home of its own. as i'm someone who loves to do things from the ground up, i knew that that home would involve me having to learn the basics of web development. this website will not only host my digital library but also my art portfolio, writings, zines, along with a bunch of other miscellaneous pages. as i'm coding everything from nothing, a lot of the pages are currently in the works. this is a test of my own willingness to let things be incomplete and exist as they are. a work in progress of its own.
feel free to click through the pages and explore keeping that in mind!

i am building this website going back and forth between VS Code on a 2023 Windows computer and Espresso 2.0 on a 2009 Macbook (probably super incorrect to switch between Windows and Mac systems! oh well!). having stumbled upon this webpage on how to build your own webcrafter
from a retro polycarbonate Mac, i scoured eBay for just the one! (my admiration of old and obsolete tech never fails me!) with all it's quirks, it lacks a fully functioning keyboard as the 5, T, G, and B keys don't work (having a bluetooth keyboard stowed away came in handy!) BUT it makes up for it
entirely by being complete with a built-in CD/DVD drive. can't get that anywhere else nowadays!
i probably should've started this sooner to keep track of what i've updated/see progress and not when i've gotten the site to this point but better late than never!
